Everyone has a story at Starlite. With close to a century of splashy cocktails and shared stories within its walls, Starlite shines as a historic and revered San Francisco establishment. A host to the most lively of parties, impresarios, and celebrity figures, Starlite beckons you to take the elevator to the 21st floor.

Inspired by the city’s icons—gold, fog, cable cars, and a celebration of the city’s flavors, award-winning bar connoisseur Scott Baird has crafted a cocktail menu that pays homage to the independent spirit and character of San Francisco, accompanied by a thoughtfully curated selection of bites designed to complement each pour. Multi-hyphenate Nina Tarr brings San Francisco’s nightlife to life with an all-vinyl soundtrack on a nightly basis, with album listening parties on the regular.

So, take the elevator to the top. Order a cocktail. Watch the sky turn pink, and the lights blink on. Tonight, this San Francisco story is yours to tell.

Otello’s career spans some of California’s most acclaimed restaurants, from Michael Voltaggio’s ink. in Los Angeles and two-Michelin-starred Lazy Bear in San Francisco to his current role at three-Michelin-starred SingleThread in Healdsburg. For him, bartending is a chance to meet people, get creative, and make each guest feel at home. He founded Barsace to bring that spirit of hospitality wherever the occasion calls for it. Otello’s mobile bar brings a personal touch to everything from intimate celebrations to large events, with inventive takes on classics and cocktails created for the guests in front of him. For one night only, experience Barsace’s approach through an exclusive cocktail menu at Starlite.

At a time when music is often consumed in fragments, Vino & Vinyl invites guests to slow down and experience albums the way they were meant to be heard. Created and hosted by DJ Kream, this recurring series transforms Starlite into an intimate listening lounge where iconic records take center stage. Each edition celebrates a featured artist through a carefully curated vinyl set played from start to finish, creating an immersive journey through the music, stories, and cultural influence that continue to resonate across generations.

For each episode, DJ Kream pairs the music of a featured artist with a thoughtfully selected wine producer, creating an experience that feels transportive, communal, and timeless. Set 21 floors above San Francisco, guests are invited to sip wine, enjoy Starlite's signature cocktails and elevated bites, and settle in for an evening of intentional listening.

Part listening party and part social gathering, Vino & Vinyl is rooted in the belief that music is one of our most powerful forms of connection. With each edition featuring a new artist and wine partner, the series invites guests to gather, listen deeply, and experience the timeless ritual of sharing great records. San Francisco native Scott Baird, whose name may spark recognition for his creation of Trick Dog, the award-winning cocktail bar in the Mission District, has remixed classic Starlite beverages with beauty, flavor, quirk, and a bit of theater. Take a sip into San Francisco’s history with the Cable Car—Starlite’s version of the Sidecar—or the Porn Star Martini—and embrace the spectacle of an experience with your high-spirited cocktails on the 21st floor.

Menu Inspired by The City

The menu of snacks sets the table, complimenting the cocktails and the celebrations of the city's flavors including rotating dishes such as the Hot Fried Chicken Bun inspired by San Francisco's Chinatown. It’s seasoned with Szechuan spices and pickled daikon and served inside a steam bun. Another love letter to the San Francisco Bay’s affinity for oysters is the Baked Oysters, covered in a sauce made of cider, egg, brown butter, and herbs and topped with bread crumbs.

Multi-hyphenate Nina Tarr brings San Francisco’s nightlife to life with an all-vinyl soundtrack with album listening parties on the regular. Nina takes her vinyl spinning skills to fuse a unique blend of funk, glam, afrobeat, world, boogie, hip hop, new wave, electro, post-punk, kraut, disco, groove, and soul.
